MASSAGE & CUPPING SERVICES
Full Body Therapeutic Massage
This type of massage consists of long, rhythmic strokes to help you unwind and relax, relieving muscle tension and restoring balance to body, mind, spirit. Choose from one of my homemade bodywork butters to relax or uplift.
Deep Tissue Massage
This massage is focused on acute and chronic injuries with slow, pointed pressure and soft tissue manipulation. It involves medical massage techniques like myofascial release, trigger point therapy, neuromuscular therapy, stretching, and self care guidelines to alleviate pain and restore mobility. My therapeutic homemade body butters are formulated to bring relief to sore, inflamed joints and muscles. PS I am not a "no pain, no gain" therapist. If you need a steady elbow in the back and to feel pain in order to relax, I am not the therapist for you. I use cups and various other technique to go deep while applying firm, confident pressure.
Cupping
At the very least, I almost always incorporate massage cupping, otherwise known as moving or running cups, into my session for about 5 to 7 minutes on the back. Cupping uses negative pressure massage by suction rather than compression and I find that the effects are greater and longer lasting than traditional massage. I used to incorporate cups into my massage but now I like to incorporate massage into my cupping sessions.
Rates for massage and cupping:
$50 for 30 minutes
$95 for 60 minutes
$120 for 75 minutes
$145 for 90 minutes

MASSAGE THERAPY WORKS
"the nature of the human body is to heal illness and the doctor should be a servant to this capability" - Hippocrates
Massage therapy checks soooo many boxes when it comes to balancing mind, body and spirit. Balancing the activities between the sympathetic nervous system (fight/flight/freeze) and the parasympathetic nervous system (rest/digest) is the mark of great health and the goal of my practice. An imbalance of these two systems has unhealthy results, acute and long term, manifesting in various forms of dis-ease in the body, mind and emotions.
Trigger Point Therapy, Myofascial Release, and other Medical Massage techniques help soften constricted muscle fibers and connective tissue, relieving symptoms of pain, stiffness, headaches, limited range of motion, cramping and other dysfunctions of the system. Massage therapy brings in fresh blood, oxygen, removes metabolic build up, optimizes neuromuscular communication, unsticks sticky adhesions, and relaxes the system so that it can adjust, repair and restore. Massage therapy brings the body back into balance.
My intention in my work is to provide a safe, loving, respectful touch for all who grace me with their presence and trust to come to see my in my practice.
